Job Description:
The Poultry Farm Labourer is a key player in supporting all lines of poultry production and seasonal crop work. Their duties involve the daily care and monitoring of the broiler chickens so that they remain healthy and properly grown. The maintenance of a clean, safe and contained barn is paramount to the job. The labourer also runs and maintains several types of farm machinery to facilitate routine activities. Animal welfare and biosecurity standards must be taken seriously. Aside from poultry work, the role may cover helping to plant, harvest, among others. All in all, the labourer plays a big role in the normal and efficient operation of the farm.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Feed and water poultry while monitoring health and well-being
- Clean stables, barns, pens, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Set and monitor barn conditions such as temperature, airflow, and water lines
- Operate and maintain farm machinery (training provided)
- Follow bio-security and safety protocols at all times
- Perform repetitive physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Assist with seasonal crop tasks (planting, cultivating, irrigating, weeding, harvesting)

Job Requirements:
- No formal education or experience required—training will be provided
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks in dusty, hot, and odorous environments
