Job Description:

As a Vegetable Farm Worker, you’ll be immersed in every stage of the farming process — from planting to harvesting. The work is physical, outdoors, and closely tied to the rhythm of the seasons. You’ll gain agricultural experience in a high-demand industry that feeds families nationwide.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plant, irrigate, cultivate, and care for crops — mainly carrots and onions.
  • How to hoe between rows to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Weed by hand or with tools to maintain crop health.
  • Harvest vegetables with care and precision.
  • Sort and grade produce based on quality.
  • Load/unload produce crates (up to 23 kg or 50 lbs).
  • Maintain the cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
  • Follow all farm safety and bio-security protocols.
  • Clean and maintain farm buildings and related facilities.

Job Requirements:

  • No formal education required; training provided.
  • Previous farm experience is an asset, not a requirement.
  • Physically fit and able to perform repetitive, manual tasks.
