Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Operation: Safely operate heavy-duty trucks on assigned collection routes.
  • Material Collection: Efficiently load curbside waste and recyclable materials into collection vehicles.
  • Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Interact professionally with residents and provide excellent customer service.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety.
  • Daily Route Management: Complete routes efficiently while meeting daily collection targets.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario DZ Driver’s License: With a clean driving record and CVOR.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience driving with a DZ license or recent graduation from an accredited AZ driving school.
  • Physical Fitness: Capability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts.
  • Background Screening: Ability to pass MTO medical/drug tests, criminal history checks, and employment verification.
  • Reliability: Demonstrated punctuality and a strong work ethic.
